Forde Park is relatively near the train station at Newton Abbot and is about 8 minutes walk from there. The No. 12 bus between Newton Abbot/Torquay/Paignton/Brixham uses stops within about two minutes of the park. There is limited parking in the road surrounding the park and charges are usually in force (pay and display). The website ( incorporates a google map.

The Club was formed in August 2011 and currently uses an area that was previously used as grass tennis courts. There is a pavilion nearby and hardcore tennis courts. Forde Park is relatively quiet there being no football (or cricket) allowed in the park.

No matches against any other clubs have been arranged to date but membership is growing and there is a need to develop more time slots and eventually additional courts that can be fenced. The club is open to members of the public 18 years or older; younger members with parent or guardian. Playing days are currently Wednesday and Friday afternoons from 2pm, April to September. New members are most welcome.
